but they taught us resilience.
With every Palestinian blown to bits, the West’s model child, the apartheid state, dies a little more.
With every callously deflected question, our shabby politicians push their government further into fatal contempt.
With every mendacious report, the BBC dig the grave of the mainstream media a little deeper.
With every obviously wrongful arrest, the police further strangle the rule of law.
With every half-wit retort on social media, another Israel/Starmer apologist further destroys the refuge of lazy complacency.
As the Musk-Trump boys destroy lives in the US, and team Starmer do the same in the UK, every last hope the reformers have ever had falls to bits, vapourized as completely as a Palestinian family hit by a turbo-bomb.

Because we did not look away, we have found each other. Anti-war peoples, all around the world. We have been talking, we have been learning. We will not look away now, ever.
The war-mongers, the mouth-pieces of the military-industrial complex, are on notice.
Because we did not look away, we know where the bodies are buried, and we know they’ll do more killing yet but we cannot be brought back from this. It’s not a case of being brave even. You can’t unlearn what you’ve learned, and if you know, you are the resistance, even when you’re silently furious. The sum of the global resistance grows by ten every time they kill/disappear/silence one.
It’s just a case of whether we can stop them before they destroy the entire world. That’s why it’s always best if those who can stand up and speak out do so whenever there is opportunity.

See you on the streets.
