We had a fantastic weekend in Hastings. Below is a link to the local PSC’s video of the kids’ banner-making and the Bike-ride-for-Palestine on Saturday…
And on Sunday, we had a march along the seafront, led by the young banner-makers, and a rally in the town centre.
Thank you, Hastings, to all those who continue to come out in rain or shine (and windy wind!) to stand against oppression, occupation and genocide.
And thank you, Hastings and Rye PSC who tirelessly turn up in the town centre week after week, to talk to anyone who hasn’t understood yet – no, we’re not stupid. No, we’re not cheering on terrorists. We’re saying we’re against illegal occupation, and war crimes – ALL war crimes, and we’re not going to stop until our politicians understand that nothing – NOTHING justifies bombing and shooting civilians. Especially, nothing on this earth ever could justify bombing civilians relentlessly, week after week, until we see children dying of heart-failure from endless fear and sleep deprivation.
Keep coming please, everyone. The joy of the gatherings helps you deal with the pain, and PSC send pics and videos to Gaza, to try to bring them some hope, while we try to get everyone to understand just how wrong this is.
