How many crises can you deal with at once?

You’re battling the cost of living crisis, you’re contributing to support efforts for refugees, for foodbanks, for local facilities under threat, you’re dashing off to support climate-crisis demos and stand on picket lines, and then someone in the family gets sick, and you try and get help…

That happened to me this year, and suddenly, I had yet another full time, unpaid, high-stress job – trying to help someone who’s ill use the NHS. I’d forgotten how bad it had got. Please do two things, today:

One: Listen to Dr Bob Gill, and resolve to tell everyone what the real problem is:

“Preventable death and suffering, as we see in America…”

Two: Please sign and share this petition and, if you’re not in East Sussex, please start your own, to ask your own councillors to prioritize our essential, our unique, our desperately endangered NHS.
